Terms of Service

Last updated September 28, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and 1583149 B.C. Ltd., doing business as Dishlist (“Dishlist”, “we”). By creating an account or using the Dishlist app, website or text messages, you agree to them. If you are a trainer using Dishlist through a partner gym, they apply to you as well.

The service

Dishlist builds personalized weekly meal plans and grocery lists, can place grocery orders on your behalf with retailers you choose, lets you log what you eat, and, at partner gyms, shares progress summaries with your trainers. We may change, add or remove features at any time.

Not medical advice

Meal plans, nutrition estimates and coaching summaries are general wellness information generated from what you tell us and from automated analysis, including AI models that can be wrong. They are not medical, dietetic or professional advice and do not account for every condition. Check ingredient labels yourself, especially for allergens, and consult a qualified professional before changing your diet if you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or take medication.

Your account

You must be at least 18 and give us accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in details private. Tell us right away if you think your account has been used without permission.

Grocery orders and payment

When you ask Dishlist to place a grocery order, the order is placed with the retailer or delivery service under your account or ours as shown at the time, and their prices, fees, substitutions, delivery terms and return policies apply. Subscription fees for Dishlist, if any, are shown before you pay and renew until you cancel. Cancelling stops future charges; fees already paid are not refunded except where the law requires.

Gyms, cohorts and trainers

If you join through a partner gym, the trainers assigned to your cohort can see your plan, logs and summaries so they can coach you, and other members of the cohort can see what you post to the feed. Trainers agree to use member information only to coach that member, to keep it confidential, and to follow their gym’s own policies. Trainers who opt in to text messages agree to the SMS program terms, and may stop at any time by replying STOP.

Acceptable use

Do not use Dishlist to harass anyone, post content you do not have the right to share, attempt to access other people’s data, interfere with the service, or resell it without our written agreement. We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, messages and other content you add. You give us a licence to store, process and display it as needed to run the service, including sharing it with your cohort and trainers as described in our Privacy Policy.

Our content

Dishlist, its software, plans, recipes as arranged by us, and branding belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial purposes while you have an account.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Dishlist is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties about accuracy, availability or fitness for a particular purpose, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for losses arising from reliance on plans, estimates or summaries, from grocery orders fulfilled by third parties, or from events outside our reasonable control. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, in which case they apply to the extent permitted.

Ending the agreement

You can close your account at any time from the app or by emailing us. We can suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we discontinue the service, with notice where practical.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. Disputes will be brought in the courts of British Columbia, except that consumers may also rely on the protections of the laws where they live.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it. Questions: team@dishlist.org.
